Positive: The accommodation is truly furnished with a lot of love, and everything you need is provided. It is very peacefully located and perfectly situated for visiting La Rochelle.
Negative: Attention! A cash deposit of €500 is required. Additionally, after booking, we were asked to pay an extra €100 for a final cleaning. This final cleaning fee was not mentioned upfront, and we were very surprised by it. Furthermore, it is not a private house with a garden (as described) and a private whirlpool; instead, there are three apartments in the house, and you share the garden and whirlpool with others. Although this is mentioned somewhere at the bottom of the description, I must admit that I personally never noticed it, as booking.com usually explains and handles everything very clearly. This information is just to let you know what to expect. If you are okay with these conditions, the apartment is highly recommended.
